Comfort Food

In light of all the things happening, cooking familiar food has been an outlet. 

I love kare kare and ube cookies, so this past week, I've made both. Check out my brief pictorial (because I'm too tired to eloquently write). 

Kare kare - peanut oxtail stew with tripe over brown rice,
with shrimp fry paste called bagoong and SkyFlakes
 Mantikilya on the side. I don't use a recipe for
the stew, but there are plenty to find online.
